Founder AMA #1 is live — "a wallet to use, not just hold"

369wallet's founder posted the first founder AMA on YouTube — a candid conversation about why we're building this product, what current wallets get wrong, and where the next generation of on-chain wallets is headed. The video is in Korean; YouTube auto-captions provide an English translation.

369wallet AMA #1 — Why 369 Wallet (founder AMA on YouTube)

The first 369wallet Founder AMA is now live on our YouTube channel. The video runs through the questions we get most often from users and builders: why we started 369wallet, what's broken about how today's wallets are designed, and what we mean when we say we're building a wallet to use, not just to hold.

The video is in Korean. If you don't speak Korean, YouTube's auto-translated captions give you a workable English version — turn on CC and select your language in the player settings. We're releasing future AMA episodes in English alongside Korean once the production cadence stabilizes.

The argument, in one paragraph

Most crypto wallets are storage products with a swap tab. The founder's thesis in this episode is that the next generation of wallets is a starting point for on-chain finance — the place where you buy, swap, stake, take RWA exposure, and open prediction-market positions, all from the same self-custodial address. A wallet that gets more useful the more you do with it, not less.

What he covers

  • Why now. The infrastructure — fast L1s and L2s, fiat on/off-ramps, deep DEX liquidity — is finally good enough to make in-wallet financial activity practical for non-experts.
  • Why "use, not hold." The framing for everything we ship. Cold storage is a legitimate use case and we'll always support it, but the product is designed for the active user.
  • What's missing in today's wallets. The friction between what users can see on-chain and what they can act on from inside a single app — the bridges, the dApp connector dance, the disjointed swap-then-stake-then-bridge flow.
  • What we're building toward. The roadmap items we've already announced — Transak fiat rails, predict.fun routing, 1inch + tokenized RWA access, and Hot Wallet Rate — all explained in the broader context of the product thesis.
  • What's still rough. The honest part. We're nine days into a public Android-only release, iOS is in App Store review, and there's a long list of edges that aren't smooth yet. The founder doesn't pretend otherwise.

The tone

If you've followed our previous roadmap notes — the Seasons teaser, the Hot Wallet Rate post — you'll recognize the voice. Direct, specific, willing to say "we're still studying that." The AMA carries the same posture into video.
